Pay: £12.21–£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 30–40 hours per week (Full-time or Part-time available)

Location: In person on site at the nursery in Chorleywood

Little Cakes Montessori is expanding! We are delighted to be opening the next stage of our Montessori and Forest School and are looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join our team.

About the Role

Our setting is open 50 weeks of the year, from 8am to 6pm, and we offer both full-day and half-day shifts (8am–1pm or 1pm–6pm). Shift patterns can be discussed during the interview process. We close for a week at Christmas and Easter and you will receive extra leave in addition to this. You will work within our nurturing Montessori environment, supporting children aged 0–5 years as they explore, learn, and grow through child-led, nature-based experiences.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking practitioners who:

• Have experience working with babies and children under 5 years old

• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Are passionate about Montessori education and outdoor, nature-based learning

• Are creative, caring, and enthusiastic team players

• Hold a relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred, but not essential)

Above all, we are looking for someone who is the right fit for the nursery and who shares our belief in nurturing independence, curiosity, and kindness in every child.
